Lynda Lemay's new show lives up to its title. In an era where we must adapt to an ever changing reality, Lynda offers a show where spontaneity is the star. The artist, who recently embarked on a long journey with her monumental project IL ÉTAIT ONZE FOIS (eleven albums of eleven songs in 1111 days...), delivers songs that warp and weft through time. Her chiseled verses depict themes of family, old age, love and mourning. Lynda imposes her gentle swell on audiences as they sway in complete confidence. In La vie est un conte de fous, laughter is as crazy as tears are meaningful. It's a pleasure to move between the two at all times.

Accompanied by her prodigious guitarist/pianist/chorist Claude Pineault, Lynda invites the audience to dive headfirst into the depths of the life she is telling, at the risk of welling up a few times. Nestled in the magnificent lighting design of Pierre Roy, Lynda and her accompanist shine with all their talents and touch audiences with their simplicity.
