Community Access Programs
The Capitol Theatre is a place where everyone belongs. We are proud to offer our community a welcoming and inclusive space where all persons can connect through incredible professional arts experiences in our state-of-the-art facilities.
We partner with cultural organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits and businesses to create a positive impact within our community.
NONPROFIT ATTENDANCE
Our nonprofit attendance program partners with local organizations to make the arts accessible for everyone by providing tickets for nonprofits to share with their members throughout our season.

PAY WHAT YOU WILL
Our Pay What You Will performances invite guests to reserve a ticket through our box office (in person or on-line) free of charge. After the show, patrons leave the amount they wish in an envelope. This program serves two purposes: allows guests to attend performances regardless of their budget and encourages audience members to discover a variety of artists, more often.
2022-2023 Pay What You Will Performances:
- Rube and Rake
- Dracula (1931) - classic film with live orchestra
- Dufflebag Theatre
- Artistic Fraud of Newfoundland - Between Breaths
Our community programs are generously funded by our individual donors. Donate now to help us build a vibrant and inclusive community
TD CONNECTS
Designed in partnership with TD Bank, TD CONNECTS is a series of exciting performances that amplifies diverse voices in the arts and builds stronger connections in our communities.
Each TD Connects performance features a local nonprofit group who is invited to introduce themselves to our audience onstage before the show. TD Connects performances spotlight underrepresented artists in the arts and shine a light on the great work being done by our fellow nonprofit organizations.
