Friends of the Capitol Theatre

We believe deeply that everyone should feel they belong at the Capitol. Our annual Friends of the Capitol Campaign raises funds to make the arts more accessible.

This year, our campaign is raising funds to support one of our most impactful outreach programs - the Capitol Theatre Academy.

The Capitol Theatre Academy fosters partnerships with schools, nonprofits and cultural groups to provide tailored programs that serve a spectrum of cultures, languages and needs. Our incredible team works tirelessly to cultivate a safe, inclusive and constructive environment where everyone feels empowered to discover and express their true selves.

Every dollar raised through our campaign will support Academy initiatives including free workshops, performances and bursaries for newcomers and families experiencing financial barriers. Tax receipts will be issued and donations of $250 and more will be recognized on our donor wall in the lobby.

Together, we can make our community a more vibrant, connected and inclusive place that offers value to our growing population.
