We can't wait to welcome participants to our theatre camps this summer!
Registrations open on Tuesday, February 18, at 10 AM.
Important: The required age is based on the child's age as of December 31, 2025.

1 - Pay the registration fee online by clicking on the appropriate class below or visit/call the Capitol Box Office at 506.856.4379.

Deadline for registrations: June 30, 2025

2 - Once you have completed your registration with the Box Office, you will receive an order confirmation including links to the PDF document and a form to fill out. If you didn’t receive it, email us at academy@capitol.nb.ca before classes begin.

Do you have a vivid imagination full of magical creatures and enchanted stories? This introductory theatre camp invites participants to discover the world of acting in a playful and welcoming environment. In the mornings, campers will create their very own short play inspired by the theme of the fantastic forest, using fun drama games and group storytelling exercises. Afternoons will be filled with prop making, arts and crafts, singing, and group games. Campers will strengthen their creativity, confidence, teamwork and focus while having fun!

Do you love musicals and want to grow as a performer? This fun and fast-paced camp combines acting, singing, and dancing to give participants a taste of the musical theatre world! Campers will create their own short musical performance using scenes, songs, and choreography inspired by popular musicals. They will work on vocal technique, movement, character development, and ensemble work while building confidence and stage presence. This camp is perfect for young performers who want to express themselves, collaborate creatively, and shine on stage.
A 5-day camp where instruction is bilingual and participants are free to express themselves in the language of their choice.

Do you love using your superpowers to bring stories and characters to life? This energetic theatre camp is perfect for kids who want to explore acting through movement, games and creative play. Campers will invent their own superhero characters and work together to create a theatre piece inspired by their incredible powers. With a focus on teamwork, imagination, and self-expression, participants will develop their voice, body and stage presence while having a blast!

Explore the mysterious, the magical, and the bizarre through theatre! This camp invites participants to create imaginative characters and scenes that are spooky, whimsical or wonderfully strange. Through improvisation, movement, vocal work and dramatic exercises, campers will develop their acting skills in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is new to theatre or already has some experience, this camp encourages creative risk-taking and collaboration, all while creating an original play full of surprises.

Dive into a full theatre experience from creation to production in this 9-day intensive camp! During the first week, participants will create an original play inspired by their own ideas, feelings, and imagination while developing core acting skills such as voice, movement, and character work. In the second week, the group will move into rehearsal mode and explore all aspects of theatre production: costumes, props, lighting, and stage direction. This is an exciting opportunity for young teens who want to collaborate, grow as artists, and experience the thrill of putting a show together from start to finish.
No camp on August 2, 3, or 4. A 9-day camp taught and performed in English.

Imagine exploring a whole world of characters and stretching your creative boundaries! In this 4-day bilingual camp, participants will dive into a creative acting lab focused on character creation. Through voice, movement, and improv games, campers will experiment with a wide range of personalities and styles, then work in small groups to create original sketches (short plays). This camp fosters creativity, teamwork and bold artistic choices in a fun and inclusive setting.
