A Beacon in the Night
Experience a journey of hope, resilience, and artistry.
A Beacon in the Night returns to the Capitol Theatre stage on May 9th for the 11th edition. What began in 2014 as a humble production at the Université de Moncton’s Jeanne-de-Valois stage has blossomed into a premier community event. Since 2022, we have had the honour of calling the Capitol Theatre our home, and we invite you to join us for this special springtime celebration.
A Celebration of Recovery
This is more than just a performance; it is a powerful, unifying tribute to the journey of mental health recovery. Since 2013, a dedicated team of volunteers has worked tirelessly to bring this large-scale production to life, shining a spotlight on stories that deserve to be heard.
What sets this show apart:
Lived Experience: The vast majority of the performers on stage are individuals who have personally navigated and overcome mental health challenges.
Artistic Excellence: From music to storytelling, the talent on display offers living proof that recovery is possible.
Community Spirit: This event fosters an atmosphere of warmth and "light at the end of the tunnel" for everyone in attendance.
