Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (1922)


A screening of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, presented with a brand-new original score performed with a live orchestra.
Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror is one of the silent era’s most influential masterpieces. This German Expressionist film, directed by F.W. Murnau from a screenplay by Henrik Galeen, stars Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent and brings the plague to their town. This original score was written by New Brunswick composer Andrew Reed Miller and will be performed by core members of Symphony NB.
