Messe

MESSE's sound is striking and groovy, and a little hazy. They combine their visceral riffs and rhythms with the French language, and have a particular fondness for the color purple. They present a high-energy show where you can jump, scream, sweat and feel young and alive. Wanting to plant a firm foot in the industry right from the start, they released their debut EP Connemara PL in May 2021, a self-produced project recorded in a home studio. Since then, they've performed on New Brunswick's underground stages, played a handful of festivals, and won the Gala de la Chanson de Caraquet.
In 2024, MESSE unveils J'mettrai le feu, a 5-song EP, a more ambitious project with a very “in your face” sound. It's a big collage of influences where we find ourselves as much in the era of fringes and bell bottoms as that of flannels and caped boots.

Openin Act: Broche À Foin
From École Clément-Cormier, Broche À Foin is a group made up of Jacem Léger, Calid Léger, Maxime LeBlanc, Mathieu LeBlanc and Joel Arsenault. Broche À Foin made a name for itself by winning the 21st edition of the Accros de la chanson contest in the group category, thanks to its traditional blues-style compositions. Today, this dynamic group continues to evolve, perform and compose in this same musical style, adding their own personal touch.
